Highlights
Uses a framework of action-oriented and adventure-based learning with an emphasis on building positive relationships
Focus on leadership skills, effective communication skills, teamwork, problem solving, creativity, acceptance of self and others, forgiveness, cooperation, belonging and increasing self-efficacy.
Participants enter into a contract where they agree that they will not engage in put-downs and will be present.
Belonging that takes place during the group activities results in students taking ownership for and pride in their schools and fellow participants
Research shows increased GPAs, increased attendance, lowered dropout rates, and higher scores on standardized testing.
