We are preparing for consolidation and expanding PBS to an intermediate school. How do we bring new staff on board?

• Preview PBS and respect identity of other schools and personnel(they may bring other initiatives like Character Counts), showcase data

• Have same expectations but fine tune for each school

• Spend school year showing them how PBS works

• Start by getting the administrators on board, invite new staff to see PBS in action

• Consider if PBS is a priority or if other issues need to be addressed first

• Host kick-off retreat - what can everyone support, vision-beliefs

• Have the kids and parents talk about how PBS has made a difference for them

• Let students go to staff and request PBS

• Invite adjoining district team members
