Future of SW-PBS in Iowa
We are pleased to announce that the Iowa Department of Education has determined that the work of school-wide positive behavior supports warrants a full-time staff person based at the Department of Education office in Des Moines. SW-PBS has been identified in the Department's six-plan that was submitted to the U.S. Department of Education. The Iowa Department of Education has made a commitment both in resources and personnel to continue to support and implement this work.

Staff at the Iowa Behavioral Alliance are working with the Department of Education personnel to ensure a smooth transition. If you have questions, you may contact the following people:
